OneFortyOne — Kaituna MCA Timber

WRITER: Robyn Janes | DOP: Dave Kwant | PRODUCTION: MediaFix | POST PRODUCTION: Vision Co

We partnered with MediaFix to produce this film for OneFortyOne, introducing their new MCA timber treatment from the Kaituna Mill. We shaped the story around the actual process: a treatment that protects timber for decades of use and ensures responsible end of life, with treated wood returned to the mill for energy production.

A sustainable forestry innovation with a genuine story behind it. The production challenge was making a technical timber treatment process both understandable and worth watching.

Primary Industry Storytelling — NZ Forestry and Sustainable Timber

Vision Co produces storytelling films for New Zealand's forestry and primary industry sector, working with companies including OneFortyOne across multiple projects. We understand timber and forestry operations and know how to operate safely to find the story within a complex industrial process. Primary industry video production for the South Island's forestry sector, from sustainable practices to capability showcases, is a category we approach with genuine interest and sector knowledge.
