JOS is a historical documentary about the life of photographer Joseph Divis, written and directed by Dave Kwant and Robyn Janes. Vision Co produced the entire film from initial research through to post production and distribution, including organising a successful theatrical release in cinemas across New Zealand. JOS was broadcast on Sky in New Zealand.

The film tells the story of a Czech-born photographer who arrived on the West Coast and spent decades documenting its communities, an archive that became both a historical record and a portrait of a way of life. Producing a film like this from research to cinema requires both documentary filmmaking craft and the production infrastructure to see it through to distribution.
