Mitre 10 Helping Hands

AGENCY: Augusto | DIRECTOR & DOP: Dave Kwant | PRE PRODUCTION: Vision Co | POST PRODUCTION: Augusto

We organised and executed a three-day reality shoot for Mitre 10 Helping Hands on the West Coast for Augusto agency. We directed and produced the three day shoot. To complicate matters, the infamous West Coast rain was present throughout.

Reality-style production is different from scripted work. The story is found on location rather than written in advance, and the skill is in recognising and being ready to capturing it when it happens. Crew that is nimble and well prepared.

Brand Storytelling Production — West Coast New Zealand

Vision Co produces brand storytelling films on location across the West Coast, working with agencies and direct clients on projects that require the region's character to come through honestly. The West Coast is our home territory and we know how to work in it productively regardless of conditions. For brands that want to use the South Island's most distinctive region in their storytelling, we provide the production experience and local knowledge to do it properly.
