Reality Check is a short film exploring the blurred line between humans and artificial intelligence. Produced by Vision Co it was shot in a single day in the Tasman region.

The production challenge was making a studio-based, two-character film feel spatially interesting without VFX. Our team built a small set inside a cyclorama and used a jib-mounted camera on a dolly to move between the real and virtual environments seamlessly. Reality Check won five regional awards at the Top of the South Film Festival 2025: Best Film, Screenplay, Lead Actor, Cinematography and Editing.
