Paparoa Track

The Department of Conservation tasked Vision Co with the full production of a brand film for the Paparoa Track, the first new Great Walk in New Zealand in over 20 years. We handled everything from scouting, casting, planning and executing a three-day shoot, through to post production on all deliverables.

The Paparoa Track traverses spectacular and demanding terrain on the West Coast. Producing on a Great Walk requires DOC filming permits, experience working in the environment, and a nimble crew that can handle multi-day location production in remote conditions.

Destination Brand Film Production — New Zealand Great Walks

Vision Co holds DOC national park filming permits and CAA Part 102 drone certification, giving us access to filming locations across New Zealand's conservation estate that most production companies cannot reach. We produce destination brand films and tourism marketing video for New Zealand's outdoor experiences, content that puts these landscapes in front of national and international audiences and makes the case for putting them on a visitor's itinerary.
