The West Coast DHB asked us to produce a film introducing the concept of rural medicine specialists to medical professionals around the world. Vision Co produced the film on location on the West Coast, working to make an honest and compelling case for a career path many doctors had simply never considered.

Rural medicine practice in New Zealand is substantively different to urban hospital medicine with a broader scope, deeper patient relationships, and a working environment unlike anywhere else. The film needed to communicate that authentically to an international medical audience.

We have produced recruitment content for the West Coast DHB and the Department of Conservation, both organisations where genuine, location-specific storytelling is the only approach that works. If the role and the place are the point, the film has to show them honestly.
