ZIP's Native Carbon Initiative

Working for Mediafix and drawing on our science background, we produced a brand film for ZIP's Native Carbon Initiative, bringing to life ZIP's plan to enhance New Zealand biodiversity while tackling climate change simultaneously. Director Robyn Janes led the creative, with Vision Co shooting and providing post production.

The film needed to explain a genuinely novel idea that planting and protecting native New Zealand bush can sequester carbon while rebuilding the natural ecosystems that have been lost. Those two goals reinforce each other, and the film makes that case with footage of the native landscapes where the work is actually happening.
