Reality Check is an experimental short film shot in a single day in the Tasman region. The goal was to explore what could be achieved with a studio-based setup, minimal crew, and a focused two-page script. Our team built a small set and used a dolly-and-jib camera setup to create smooth, cinematic movement that elevated the story’s tension.

Visually driven and conceptually sharp, the film explores the blurred line between humans and AI,asking whether we’re becoming more like bots, or if they’re starting to believe they’re human.

The result was a tightly executed production that went on to win Best Local Film, Screenplay, Actor, Cinematography, and Edit at the Top of the South Film Festival.
